To leave a family plan, you will need the account number and you can typically get a temporary transfer PIN using your phone, but we recommend you talk to the person who is the primary on the family account first. In both cases, the device must be unlocked so if the device is still under a financing plan then you will need to pay off the balance to unlock the phone.
